Retreat Terms And Conditions

CANCELLATION POLICY & HEALTH DISCLAIMER

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that because our events are organised by a small non-profit organisation, and often are limited to a small number of attendees, to allow for a more personal, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike to work together to share expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.

50% of the total retreat fees is refundable when cancelling in written form prior to the start of the retreat with the reasons stated.

However, as we are a small non-profit association, we kindly request you to consider offering the remaining contribution as a donation for our association to help cover its operational costs and its non-profit activities.

If for any unavoidable reason you cannot attend the retreat yourself, the participation can be transferred to another new attendee found and assigned by the original attendee.

If you do not show up to the retreat without cancelling beforehand, no portion of the retreat fee can be refunded.

A minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your place at our retreats. You may choose to pay the full amount at the time of booking. You can pay the remainder of the balance any time on our registration page using the “Balance payment” option. Otherwise, you will receive a reminder email 10 days prior to the balance due deadline date. The balance is due 45 days before the start date of retreat or workshop unless otherwise noted.

If the remaining amount is not yet paid by the 45th day prior the start date, we will understand that you no longer wish to join the retreat, your place will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited. To avoid this, just keep in touch! Email us at contact@sanatanbaul-eu.org and explain your situation so that we can assist You and find a solution together.

We can facilitate different payment plans, such as deposit plus 3 instalments etc - email us at  contact@sanatanbaul-eu.org

No one books a retreat with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the retreat. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.

Any Illnesses —> Please Purchase Appropriate Travel Insurance

We reserve the right to cancel the retreat for any reason. This would only happen in exceptional circumstances resulting in us not being able to offer the retreat as advertised, or if the minimum number of participants to run the retreat is not met, or in case of Force Majeure. Should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and will refund you the full amount you paid us in respect of the workshop / retreat. We cannot be held liable for any expenses which you may have incurred, such as travel, holiday days or exchange rate losses.

Retreat Terms And Conditions

Please notify us in advance of any need to arrive early or leave late. We’ll look to accommodate your schedule as much as possible, just get in touch with us to discuss.
